Shevchenko O. Hygienic basement of measures to improve river basin of Seversky Donets and public health of Kharkiv region

As a result of the studies scientifically substantiated and developed ecological and hygienic concept of Donets River basin within Kharkiv region and public health in Kharkiv region. A practical algorithm for the implementation of this concept is implemented in an innovative project for Kharkiv regional state administration. Based on the study of as the water of the river S. Donets River and its basin in 49 wells during the years 2006-2010 it was established that the chemical pollution of their water reflects specific anthropogenic contamination of two business areas and is much more intense within Kharkiv region compared to water pollution at the border with Belgorod region (Russia). Experimentally validated and developed a biochemical model of structural and functional mechanisms of biological effects on the body of the main chemical pollutants of river basin of S.Donets. Based on it biochemical correlates for prenosologicali diagnosis of premorbid conditions of environmental pathology, associated with the adverse impacts of water factors are suggested and defined. Risks to public health due to exposure to chemical contaminants of water basin of S. Donets are calculated.
