The thesis is devoted to the study of extra-high frequency range electromagnetic radiation (EHF ER) influence on the essential hypertension (EH) clinical course among men. A comprehensive study of cognitive functions, structural and functional parameters of the heart, central hemodynamics and levels of oxidative stress of the men with EH under action of EHF ER has been conducted. It was experimentally proved on the animals that health effect of EHF ER in a dose equivalent to the maximum power load of radar workers, results in damage of FeS-proteins in the mitochondrial respiratory chain of liver, heart, aorta and brain cells. Practical advices on the prognosis of the clinical course of EH in the conditions of EHF ER exposure, have been formulated on the basis of the results and conclusions.
