Bushа N. Development of customary law in Ukraine (X - late XVIII centuries).

The dissertation is dedicated to studying development of customary law in Ukraine in the period of Kievan Rus and in the Polish-Lithuanian times. As well as its transformation into common law in the period of Hetmanship. The work deeply analyses historyographic studies of development of customary law in Ukraine, the research methodology, notions and attributes of single standard customs and their transformation into customary and common law. Much attention is paid to studying regulation of the customary law rules in the activities of state authorities and administrative bodies as well as of the public bodies, regulation of civil and matrimonial relations with the rules of common law, as well as the place of common criminal law rules in the legal system of Ukraine in the period studied.
