Essay

Theoretical generalization and experimental investigation of actual scientific problem - determining the level of neuro-emotional stress in strained mental work persons, its role in the formation of mental capacity and search for new ways of pharmacological correction of the functional condition has been conducted. High level of neuro-emotional stress in operators of air traffic control service has been revealed. The functional strain of autonomic regulation was higher in the air traffic controllers, as compared to engineering personnel, especially in the older age group. Positive correlations of indices of mental capacity with mRR, SDNN, VLF and HF, as well as a negative correlations with AMo and LF norm is founded. The use of a combination of vitamins and minerals contributed to decreasing the functional stress of the cardiovascular system, improving objective indices of mental capacity and subjective assessment of their state.
