The dissertation examines the frequency of obstetric and perinatal pathology instances in pregnant women diagnosed with an anemiae and suffering from hypothyriosis. This condition is referred to as the thyroprival anemiae. In particular, strategies aimed at improving the existing treatment and prevention approaches were investigated. The study reveals the pivotal role of iodine and iron deficiencies among the underlying causes of the thyroprival anemiae in the subpopulation of pregnant women who inhabit the naturally iodine-depleted region of Transcarpathia. The investigation also places the deficit of the folic acid, elevated lipid peroxidation and a diminished function of antioxidant defense system among the key symptoms of the thyroprival anemiae.
