Bodnar I. Criminological principles of crimes prevention in closed penitentiary institutions

The notion and content analysis of crime prevention in closed penitentiary institutions is made; the peculiarities of organizing the subjects' interaction in preventing crimes in the criminal and executive penitentiary institutions are researched; the reasons and conditions that cause committing crimes by offenders are analyzed; the criminological characteristic of convicted who commit crimes while serving in closed penitentiary institutions is given; the characteristic of levels of crimes prevention in penitentiary institutions is determined and given in the dissertation. Scientifically based recommendations to impact on causes and conditions of crime prevention and to improve the work of preventive influence subjects are developed.
