The thesis carries out the environmental assessment of Boryslav oil and gas deposits within the city limits of Boryslav, selects and analyzes the content of pollutants in the samples of soil, atmospheric air, surface and ground water; provides the geochemical indicators of pollution in the area of local oil and gas wells; establishes the categories of environmental hazardousness on the territory of Borislav oil and gas field. The measures aimed at the reduction of oil and gas production negative influence on the local environment in the area of Boryslav oil and gas field were suggested and substantiated.
