Yurkiv O. Optimizing surgical treatment of rectal adenomatous polyps large sizes

The dissertation presents the results of diagnosis and surgical treatment of 128 patients with adenomatous rectum polyps large sizes. A retrospective analysis of the survey results of 76 patients of the control group on which a method of diagnosis of malignancy polyps in the rectum (Patent of Ukraine for useful model № 68145). On the basis of the made retrospective analysis of immediate and long-term results of endoscopic polypectomy in 76 patients with polyps of the rectum developed techniques transanal polypectomy using electric welding technologies, namely: "Method-stage transanal polypectomy adenomatous polyps of the rectum" (Patent of Ukraine for useful model № 68577) and "Method transanal polypectomy flattened adenomatous colon polyps larger" (Patent of Ukraine for useful model № 68147). These methods were used to treat 52 patients of the study group. The algorithm selection techniques perform transanal polypectomy using electric welding technologies. Using the developed technique preoperative examination of patients and transanal polypectomy using electric welding technology have enabled significantly reduce the number of postoperative complications (7.9 % of patients in the control group to 1.9 % in research) (p <0,01), significantly reduce the time of complete healing of surgical wounds (from 36,6 ± 8,3 to 25,7 ± 6,7 days) and prevent recurrence of the disease.
