Essay

The dissertation deals with the problem of raising the efficacy of treating of patients with chronically relapsing dermatoses (eczema, psoriasis) - inhabitants of different physicogeographical (flat, foothill, mountainous) regions by means of differential using an element-containing drugs, taking into consideration the content of some essential macro- and microelements in biological substrates of patients. Multidirectional changes of the content of calcium, iron, zinc and manganese have been established in the blood, urine, hair and nails of patients with eczema and psoriasis from flat, foothill and mountainous regions, the correlations with their content in drinking water and soil have been proved. Pathogenetically substantiated methods of treating eczema and psoriasis in patients from flat, foothill, mountainous regions with a differential and staged use of element-containing drugs, contributing to a normalization of the content of investigated essential elements in biological substrates of patients, and, also, prolonging the duration of clinical remission and reducing the recurrence rate of eczema and psoriasis during a year have been elaborated.
