Thesis deals with individual aspects of volitional behavior of older preschoolers. The paper contains a theoretical rationale, methodology and results of empirical research on this problem. The content, structure and level of manifestation of preschool children's volitional behavior in cognitive and motor activity are defined. It is found that the dynamics of volitional behavior at the stage of preschool child is due sense voluntary actions of children in different types of children's activities and is in the individual characteristics of manifestation levels of motivation and regulation structural components of volitional behavior in older preschoolers. The degree of manifestation of structural components parameters of preschooler volitional behavior is characterized, allowing to identify subgroups of subjects by levels of correlation between strong-willed actions in cognitive and motor activity. The psychological meaning of individualization of psychological and educational work with children of subgroups was examined. We developed and tested author's program of volitional behavior of older preschool children, aimed at harmonizing the structure of voluntary actions of children by balancing the levels of indicators of motivation and regulation structural components in the cognitive and motor activity.
