Essay

The thesis deals with the development of technological bases for the oxidative desulphurization of high-sulphuric medium-metamorphized coal. The effect of main factors on the process has been investigated, the mathematical model has been developed and optimum process conditions have been determined. The process flowsheet for the oxidative desulphurization of black coal with coalification medium degree has been suggested. It has been shown that desulphurized medium-metamorphized coal may be used as an additive to the coking raw material for the production of special types of coke, as well as a raw material for the production of powdered-coal fuel.
