Allouche A. The improvement of treatment of herpes zoster by use of neuroprotective means

The object of study - herpes zoster. The purpose of research - improving the effectiveness of treatment of patients with herpes zoster by developing an integrated method with antioxidant and neuroprotective metabolic action on the basis of explaining the role of the inflammatory markers noci-/antinociception. Research methods: general clinical laboratory, radioimmune, enzyme immune, statistics. The thesis is devoted to actual problems such as improving the efficiency of treatment of herpes zoster through the development of complexes methods using neuroprotective with antioxidant and metabolic actions aimed at restoring the functional state of noci- and antinociceptive systems based on the definition of pathogenic mechanisms of disease, establishing the role of violations of neuropeptides and cytokines. These data are confirming the necessity of early introduction of complex neuroprotective treatment of patients with herpes zoster to prevent development of severe forms of pain syndrome. Results have been implemented in the practice of Zaporizhzhya, Poltava Region and Donetsk City clinical dermato-venerological dispensaries, Dnipropetrovsk city clinical hospital № 17 and in the pedagogical process of departments: Professional Diseases and Radiation Medicine of Donetsk National Medical University named by Gorky, dermatovenerology of Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy.
