This dissertation is the first complex protection,study and use historical and cultural sights in Donetsk and Lugansk areas in 20th - at the beginning of 30th of XX century historical events research. The realisation methods of monument protection measures on the region territory and the formation of cultural heritage sights local registers are analyzed. The regional museums role in realization of all the monument protection researches complex on the areas territory which include different historical and nature sighs categories study is determined.
