This thesis addresses the problem of artistic taste formation in high school students in the process of studying the vocal heritage of the Ukrainian composers. Historical and theoretical analysis of the scientific literature on the research subject is presented. Artistic and educational potential of the Ukrainian composers song heritage and its influence on the artistic taste formation of high school students is analyzed. The methodology of artistic taste formation in high school students in the process of studying the vocal heritage of the Ukrainian composers is developed and theoretically substantiated.
