Essay

The thesis contains the theoretical substantiation of the role of physical activity of varying intensity and frequency in the change of immune and metabolic status of athletes engaged in bodybuilding. For the first time, depending on the level and frequency of the exercise, in the dynamics of strength training for athletes involved in bodybuilding, a comprehensive study of the qualitative and functional characteristics of phagocyte activity of peripheral blood monocytes and neutrophils, T- and B-systems, system of natural cytotoxicity, activity of lipid peroxidation, enzymatic system of antioxidant defense, state of prostaglandins E2 and F2а, prostacyclin/thromboxane systems is conducted. The immune and biochemical criteria are proposed for the estimation of adaptation of the sportsmen engaged in bodybuilding.
