Kolomoyets A. Symbolic violence at the presidential election campaign 2010 in Ukraine.

The object is presidential election campaign 2010 in Ukraine. The aim is to determine the features of symbolic violence use in discourse of presidential election campaign 2010 in Ukraine and to identify his verbal and non-verbal forms. The methods are system, structural-functional analysis, sociological questioning, event-analyses, content-analyses, applied discourse-analyses. The work reveals the matter and characteristic features of symbolic violence. The idea of necessity to overcome the narrow mind treatise the term "violence" is proved. Author methods of investigation of manifestation of the symbolic violent influence by the current political processes are being formulated. According to this the research has analyzed peculiarities of verbal and non-verbal discourse of the main presidential candidates of Ukraine to determine the main forms of symbolic violence used by them. Application spheres are the practical work of political consultants and training courses.
