The state of treatment of solid waste in Lviv region was investigated in the thesis. Natural and socio-economical prerequisites of the modern location of objects of handling and removal of solid waste were found out. The model system of multipurpose utilization of solid waste in Lviv region was elaborated on the basis of obtained results.
