Kornilova K. The Prose by Pavlo Zahrebelnyi Created in the 90-s of the XXth Century – Early XXIst Century: Immanent Issues of Catastrophe and its Artistic Interpretation

The object of the thesis are P. Zagrebelny's works "Naked Soul" (1992), "Julia, or invitation to suicide" (2000), "Junk" (2002), "The Creation of Pillars" (2004), "Kavtaklisma" (2004). The aim of the thesis is to study the essence of the idea of catastrophism and specificity of artistic expression in P. Zagrebelny's prose of 90-ies of XX - beginning of XXI century. Methods used in the research are analysis, synthesis, generalization, narrative and semiotic techniques mifokrytyky, feminist criticism, innovation. The novelty of the thesis is in the first attempt of the complex analysis of P. Zagrebelny's prose in the perspective of catastrophism. The results of the research can be used in university Ukrainian literature course, special courses and special seminars devoted to the study of Ukrainian prose late XX - early XXI century. during training qualification, Masters and competitive research in higher education, as well as lessons relevant topics for electives and circle classes in secondary school. The field is the philology.
