Zgonnyk A. Laparoscopic esophgocardiomyotomy in treatment of esophageal achalasia

Work is base on analysis and generalization of results of examination and surgical treatment of 146 patients with the achalasia of esophagus who underwent laparoscopic esophgocardiomyotomy with a fundoplication in different variants from 2001 to 2009.It is well-proven on work results, that laparoscopic esophgocardiomyotomy is the effective method in treatment of achalasia patients, worked out indications to application of laparoscopic esophgocardiomyotomy and is worked out the modern algorithm of treatment of patients with the achalasia of esophagus.Developed methods of treatment of achalasia of esophagus and laparoscopic fundoplication considerably improve the results of treatment of patients with the achalasia of esophagus, due to their miniinvasiveness postoperative complications in 1,7 times, allow to reduce the terms of postoperative stay of patients in clinic in 1,4 times, and also reduce the terms of social rehabilitation in 1,8 times.
