The thesis deals with a complex analysis of determining the legal regime of database, the order of executing and protecting this right in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine and international legal norms. The author defines and reveals the "legal" characteristics (features) of database, determines the place of database in the system of civil law objects. He makes a fundamental analysis of the order of emerging and substance of the right to use a database, analyses its constituents and determines the legal status of its subjects. He investigates the problems of civil-legal protection of the right to use a database.
