Lisenyi I. Transformation of economic functions of state in the context of globalization

The object of the research: activities of the state in the area of economics. The objective of the research is to disclose the process and mechanisms of transformation of economic functions of the state in the context of globalization. Methods of research: logical and historical analysis, analogy, scientific abstraction and modeling, analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization. Results and novelty: the research proposes and discloses a new classification of the economic functions of the state composed of three functions each consisting of two sub-functions; discloses major directions of transformation of basic economic functions of the state; improves the disclosure and reasoning of three blocks of contradictions of globalization, which influence on the economic functions of the state; develops further classification of the forms of transformational impact of globalization on the economic functions of the state and develops further characteristics of two major economic strategies of the states in the context of globalization. Application field: research and teaching activities.
