Goduyev O. Institutional Structuring of the Banking System

Object of research: structure of the linkages between all participants of the financial-banking market, their interaction and the impact of institutional factors on the structure of the banking sector. The objective of the research: the disclosure of the internal mechanisms of restructuring of the banking sector, forms and ways of adaptation of banks to the external market and regulatory conditions. Methods of research: institutional interpretation of the economic reality; the unity of the logical and historical; the dialectical method; the ascent from the abstract to the concrete. Results and novelty: The phenomenon of the institutional incompleteness of economic systems and its consequences was characterized; it was proved that the institutional incompleteness of the banking activity is shown in the periodic reduction of the trust; the description of the place of the banks in the institutional structure of the society was improved with the help of such concepts as the institutional mission, institutional capacity building, institutional status, institutional expertise; the content of the institutional risks of banking activities has been disclosed; the knowledge of the mission of banking activities has been improved; the further development of the classification of institutional prerequisites influencing the specific form of building a banking institution have received, as well as the basis of a holistic approach to optimization of transaction costs as a factor in the restructuring of the banking system.
