Duchenko M. The study of Gleditsia triacanthos biologically active substances and creation of drugs on their basis.

The pharmacognostic study of major groups of biologically active substances of Gleditsia trіacanthos was carried out for the first time. 42 com-pounds were isolated as individuals, among them from leaves – 27, from valves – 15 and their structure was determined. 26 phenolic compounds from Gleditsia trіacanthos were isolated for the first time. Assay by HPLC method of 9 flavonoids was carried out. The content matter is dominated by glycosides of myricetin and apigenin. 16 Amino acids, 11 fatty acids, 40 volatile compounds, 15 macro- and micronutrients were determined. As-say of organic and fatty acids, ascorbic and hydroxycinnamic acids, flavonoids, tannins, alkaloids and polysaccharides in leaves of Gleditsia trіacan-thos, antraquinone derivatives in valves were established. Morphological and anatomical features of leaves and beans of Gleditsia trіacanthos were established. The technology of obtaining dry extract from the leaves of Gleditsia trіacanthos was developed. Extract shows anti-inflammatory, anal-gesic and hypotensive activities. The projects of quality control procedures «Gleditsia trіacanthos leaves», «Gleditsia trіacanthos leaves dry extract» were developed.
