Essay

The dissertation was devoted to the actual for our country and especially for Donbass region problem of decreasing negative impact of water treatment technology. The investigation examined methods of efficiency water treatment improvement by using reverse osmose equipment. The condition of water supply and characteristics of water sources in Ukraine were analyzed. The situation with potable and in some cases industrial water supply is critical. The mine waters composition of some Donbass area mines was analyzed and possibilities of their use for industrial supply after corresponding treatment were shown. The existing water treatment technology was examined, its advantage and deficiency were indicated. The optimal kind of equipment for preliminary water treatment before reverse osmose technology was grounded. The mathematical model of mass transfer through plane kind of membrance was worked out. It gives possibility to predict the most efficient operation condition (pressure, salts content, temperature, membrance permeability, etc.) of reverse osmose technology. Evaporation equipment for treatment of reverse osmose concentrate was grounded by means of sun energy use on the base of equipment which is close to displacement reactor. To increase efficiency of preliminary water treatment before reverse osmose equipment was given a proof of using ultrasonic treatment with frequency control.
