Essay

Dissertation has been dedicated to the study of diagnostic characteristics and differential diagnosis, clinical features and treatment of generalized epilepsy in infants on the basis of three - year research.Features of origin and running of generalized forms of epilepsy in infants have been revealed on the base of clinical, neurophysiological and neuroimaging studies. Practicability of using of algorithm on differential diagnosis of generalized paroxysmal events in infants has been grounded. Treatment approaches depending on forms of generalized epilepsy and electro-clinical epileptic syndromes in young children have been discussed.
