Shekmanov M. The system of psychological help for patients with chronic viral hepatitis in in-patient department

The complex research of personal and psychosocial patterns patients with chronic viral hepatitis (n=128) was conducted. It was investigated mental and emotional distress features in patients with chronic viral hepatitis such as high level of psychological distress, which was implemented in psychopathological symptoms in the form of anxiety and depressive symptoms, significant personal importance of the situation, hyperreflexia. The connection between psychological responses on disease and personal patterns in patients with chronic viral hepatitis was found. There were such personality profiles as "adaptive" neurotic, affective, affective-sensitive and egocentric-excitable types. The basic source of psychosocial support in option depending on locus of control was specified. It was provided assessment of the quality of life in patients with chronic viral hepatitis. Components of system of psychological help for patients with chronic viral hepatitis were psychodiagnostic, psyhoeducation and psychocorrection. Based on the study results and their quantitative and content analysis theoretically substantiated and formulated the concept and developed a system of psychological help for patients with chronic viral hepatitis in in-patient department.
