Pavlyak A. Monitoring and Correction of Endotoxicosis in Complex Surgical Treatment of Patients with Purulent Peritonitis.

The object is the monitoring and correction of endotoxicosis in complex surgical treatment of patients with purulent peritonitis; the aim is to improve the efficiency of treatment of patients with purulent peritonitis; the methods – clinical, laboratory biochemical, , statistical; the novelty – high diagnostic and prognostic value of the quantitative specific LAL-test of the blood serum of the patients with purulent peritonitis has been proved, besides the influence of operative treatment, decompression of gastrointestinal tract on the dynamics of endotoxicosis indices has been studied; the results – the elaborated prognosis of lethality and algorithm of the surgical tactic to improve the efficiency of treatment and to reduce lethality of patients with purulent peritonitis; the results are implemented into the the medical and educational process; the branch is surgery.
