Essay

Thesis is devoted to an important problem - the development of information and methodology for the study of special subjects by future ecologists. The paper shows the role and place of information and methodical support in teaching agricultural universities. Higher agricultural education in Ukraine today is - the universities (10 national and national agricultural, 6 state agrarian one - State Marine Technology University (1), Agroecological University (1), Agronomical University (1) Academy (2) Agrotecnical Institutions (2). Striving for quality professional self-identity, social value and prestige of knowledge, agricultural education devotes considerable space for information and methodical support. By considering its historical context it was found that agricultural libraries have nearly 8,5 million volumes of literature. It is found that the source of information and methodical support was established by the opening of the agronomy department at the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. In fundamental Library of Institute funds were collected valuable agricultural literature, but it didn't meet the needs of students and professors completely. At the same time an agronomical section became the first Scientific Society of Agronomy in Kiev. Thus the first agricultural library was conceived and developed (1903). This period can be considered as a precursor of information and methodical support. The structure (model; educational materials, scientific materials; software) and content (novelty; update of knowledge; historicism; interdisciplinary and communication; professional orientation; vital importance; staging demonstrations; the factor of "bright spot"; projection views of life on the level of scientific concepts; opening the borders of theories and laws; the use of video, audio, graphics) of information and methodical support are considered, its role in the training of future environmentalists is shown. Principles, criteria and conditions, are the basics for the development and implementation of information and methodical support. Identified the main principles (scientific, systematic, information, consistency, accessibility, clarity, complexity and difficulty, activity, awareness, self-reliance) are identified. The casual, informative, dynamic criteria were taken into account. The content-effective, operational, motivational and dynamic criteria for the development of information and methodical support, are identified and theoretically grounded as well as subjective and objective conditions. Reasonable means of improving the educational process on the basis of information and methodical support are considered: IBM Lotus Learning Management System, IBM Lotus Workplace Collaborative Learning, WebCT Campus Edition, WebCT Vista 3.0, BlackBoard, Прометей, Moodle, ДОЦЕНТ.
