Essay

The work is dedicated to improving the diagnostic tactics of the vertebro-basilar insufficiency in the early period after transient ischemic attack in middle-aged patients on the basis of a comprehensive survey of studies using clinical features of disease and optimizing treatment strategy in these patients. Found that the I degree of vertebro-basilar insufficiency observed in 52,5 %, the II - in 9,7 %, the III - in 27,9 % of patients with this pathology, according to the developed questionnaire. Involutional hormonal changes clearly manifested in the pathogenesis and progression of the disease, the severity of which increases depending on the severity of the disease. Aggregation, endothelial dysfunction and increased vascular reactivity increas with the neurological deficit progression and cause disorders of microcirculation. Adding to the base therapy of statins, vasoactive drugs and vitamins B improves the clinical characteristics, aggregation and endothelial function, reduce vascular reactivity, improves microcirculation.
