Object is the modern political process; purpose is the definition of the revolution as a mechanism of change in direction of the political process; the methods are the analytical, comparative, systematic, and historical; novelty is in that the possibility of considering the revolution as a political project to change the political power in the country which is in the nature of political technology is proved; the results - can be used by members of the current government and the opposition to form their own political action strategy, introduced in the research while teaching courses in political science, comparative politics, political conflicts.
