3. The Dissertation is devoted to the study of theoretical and practical problems of government regulation of collective investments market and investment funds in Ukraine. The ways of improvement of government regulation mechanisms by means of the development of appropriate public policy instruments are suggested. Special attention is paid for analysis of forms, Institutions and mechanisms of government regulation in the sphere of collective investing. The context of the main regulation principles of investment funds activities on international level is disclosed. The thesis proposed the definition of joint investment market with the characteristics of the stages of its formation. It examines the main trends, dynamics and problems of the mutual fund market in Ukraine. The steps of regulatory initiatives together with the market professionals and self-regulatory organizations the state should undertake are given.
