There is the phenomenon of trust in the system of relationships "doctor - patient", which is considered in two aspects contents in the dissertation research. First, as institutional trust, it is a relation of the individual to the social roles of "doctor" and "patient", a common setting for the credibility of the representatives of these social roles and the institution of the general health (in patients). Second, as a specific form of interpersonal trust, which is added during the treatment and rehabilitation process between patients and medical professionals and has some leveling and informative features. Created and psychometrically reasonably 4 new psychodiagnostic techniques aimed at assessing trust and other parameters of relationships "doctor - patient". The structure of trust in the "doctor - patient", identified criteria for diagnosing the level and type. The basic types of trust in medical professionals and patients with neurological and psychical diseases. Investigated psychological factors of trust between doctor and patient.
