Essay

The manuscript presented for the thesis defense deals with the investigation of the language representation of the concepts SIN and ATONEMENT based on the material of the Ukrainian prose of the second half of twentieth century. It is the first complex research of the verbalization of these concepts in dualistic aspect. It gives opportunity to overview the possibilities of the reconstruction of the national language picture of the world from the point of mentality of the Ukrainian nation.
