Object of inquiry are plays of V. Vinnichenko: "Market", "Lie", "Great Moloch", "Large secret", "Golota", "Sin", "Dizgarmoniya", "Daughter of gendarme", "Law", "Kol-Nidre" ("Song of Israel"), "Between two forces", "Young blood", "Nad", "Natus", "Panna Mara", "Nailed", "Prophet", "Singing societies", "Black Pantera and White Bear", "Stranger people", "Stages of life", "Memento". The aim is to expose the specific of the world picture, created plays of V. Vinnichenko. The research methods are arkhetipno-mythological, cultural and historical, structurally semiotics, partly — biographic; motivic analysis. The results and novelty: the attempt of integral research of dramaturgy of V. Vinnichenko is first carried out through the study of specific of the picture of the world created a writer, in particular it basic elements — man, time, space; the features of their presentation are grounded by an artist in the aspect of constant/transformation, parallels are conducted between biographic realities and artistic embodiment of the personal experience. The field of application: the courses of the History of the Ukrainian Literary, the Literature Criticism of the late XXth - early XXIst century.
