Zengwa V. Art anthropology of the prose of M. Khvylovyy: a hero as a phenomenon of culture.

Object of study; M. Khvylovy's short stories that are included in the collections of "Blue Sketches", "Autumn", "The Story about sanatoriynaya zone", novel "Woodcock", stories ("Ivan Ivanovych", "From Varya's biography", "Inspector" and others). The aim of the thesis: reveal the specifics of artistic prose M. Khvylovy's anthropology and the basic characteristics of his character as a cultural phenomenon. Methods: biographical, intertextual, cultural, historical, descriptive and analytical, typological, motivic, mythopoetic. The results, novelty: for the first time M. Khvylovy's prose was considered in the light of philosophical and literary anthropology, the features of the image of man in the writer's prose was outlined. The field of application: the courses of Ukrainian literature of the twentieth century.
