Ovsyannіkov O. Designing computing environment for scientific research of the future engineers and teachers in higher education institutions

Thesis is devoted to the actual problem: designing computing environment for research of students. Analysis of the scientific literature indicates a lack of information and communication technologies in the educational process of the university. Based on the analysis of the works of researchers the following approaches to the design of computer environment are identified: methodological, information technological, systematic, psychological. The essence of the terms "computer environment", "design computing environment", is clarified and the essential characteristics of the computing environment for scientific research (personal orientation, multisubject, individual learning paths) are identified. The design stages of the computing environment for scientific research are substantiated, namely, planning, design, development of individual elements of computing environment according to the structure, testing, deployment and support. A generic algorithm of the expert judgment of computing environment for research of students with the definition of the functions of an expert (expert group) is developed. The results showed quantitative and qualitative changes of formation of the research skills of future engineers, teachers in the experimental group, the conclusion about the positive impact of a computer environment for their formation is made. The main provisions of the thesis are implemented in the education process of universities of Ukraine.
