Borukh O. Pragmatic potential of quotes in Turkish language.

The research is devoted to the analysis of linguopragmatic influence of quotes (winged words) - in particular - eptonims of different origin in modern Turkish language. In the thesis there have been defined quotes (winged words) that are included in the active vocabulary of native modern Turkish language speakers, also the sources of quotes have been described and by the help of the experiment the degree of the genetic factor's influence on their recognition has been defined. It has been proved that the most recognized are the quotes from mass media texts. On the example of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk the importance of linguistic individuality authority of the quotes' author has been proved which plays an important role in the future of the expression. Speaker with direct or transformed inclusion of quotes to his language intensifies their perlocutionary influence on the recipient, combining current situation with the one shown in primary source. Pragmatic potential research of the quotes in speech, analysis of their ability to form a certain text's persuasiveness and perlocutionary influence on the recipient, as well as consideration of the pragmatic mechanism for achieving this effect opens up new perspectives in the research of nominative means of modern national languages, at the same time staying correlated with the needs of practical human activity.
