Essay

The thesis is devoted to the analysis of mechanisms by means of which demographic factors induce domestic and international political conflicts. The influence on the conflict initiation is considered as an important element of a more general context of political consequences of demographic change. The work investigates the peculiarities of interaction between demographic and non-demographic factors in creating conflict potential; studies conditions needed for the transformation of the created potential into a real conflict.
