Essay

Object of research - process of cutting wood on the horizontal band saw machines with narrow blades. The aim is to improve the accuracy of cutting wood on the horizontal band saw machines with narrow saws by reducing the effects on the process of the main characteristics of factors. Research methods. This thesis applied the energy method, solid modeling techniques and finite elements to determine the working hardness band saw, analytical methods for the determination of mechanical forces acting on the working arm saws, experiments and their analysis is carried out using the method of mathematical planning of experimental studies. Scientific innovation. A mathematical model of precision sawing wood on a horizontal band saw machines with narrow saws, allowing to describe the impacts on the accuracy of cutting a number of factors, choose rational ways to improve the accuracy and identify rational sawing cutting accuracy. The algorithm for the theoretical determination of the stiffness of the working band saws, which, in contrast to the well-known: the first account of the effect of height and the type of tooth profile using the equivalent width of the saw, the first time the eccentricity blade tension is expressed as a variable, depending on the cutting forces and the angle between the axes of saw pulleys, the first time into account the effect of asymmetry in the location of the cutting area working branch saws. The algorithm for determining the lateral force in the cutting of timber, which, in contrast to the known into account new elements specific to the horizontal band saw: the pressure on the saw blade chips, divorce teeth undiluted way through one tooth, the initial deflection of the saw in the cutting zone. First studied at the theoretical level, the impact on the accuracy of cutting band saws for the partial loss of contact between the band saw and the guide, which allowed to determine the conditions of contact and provide formalized according to the permissible cutting. For the first time the technique estimate the ripple cut, and new data, the application of them to determine the correction accuracy in dimensional configuration Bandsaws required minimum allowance for processing workpieces and magnitude of losses ripple through the wood. Scope: woodworking production.
