Essay

The state of the problem in the home and foreign psycho-pedagogical literature was analyzed and the actuality of the problem under investigation in the correctional pedagogic and special psychology was cleared up. Experimentally checked up pedagogical conditions for studying the geography material with the aim of correcting the imagination of the senior auxiliary school pupils are represented. The above mentioned conditions were used during the lessons and in the out-of-class activities in geography. The analysis of the research fulfilled by the author confirmed the effectiveness of the elaborated pedagogical conditions for the study of geography and the productivity of the methods and techniques applied concerning the correction of the 6-9th forms mentally retarded children' imagination.
