Essay

The object is the process of compaction of powder mixtures. The aim of work is expanding the range and improvment of nomenclature of highly porous powder products based on improved technology and equipment for compaction of powder mixtures containing pore-former. Research techniques are experimental methods, mathematical modeling and methods of mathematical statistics. Theoretical and practical results are peculiarities of compaction of highly porous powder articles, recommendations for the improvement of technology. Novelty is the influence of the main factors on the quality and characteristics of powder articles. Implementation includes practical recommendations to improve technology and manufacturing powder articles (evidence of use has been received). Scope of use are units of engineering and metallurgical companies, industrial research institutes.
