Essay

The dissertation contains data on epidemiology, pathogenesis and prevention of recurrent ischemic stroke in Lviv. Comparative analysis of disturbances in lipid metabolism and hemostasis, changes of the activity of free radical processes, endogenous intoxication and changes in the L-arginine - NO in the acute period between primary and recurrent ischemic stroke, depending on severity was performed. It was established that in order to improve treatment and prevention of primary and recurrent ischemic stroke a combination of Саrdiomagnyl and Pentoxіfylline SR-APO should be used as antiplatelet therapy in early recovery period due to positive impact of these preparations on the hemostasis.
