Beley L. Linguistic landscape of Zakarpattia oblast of Ukraine in the beginning of XXI century.

The thesis is devoted to the peculiarities of linguistic landscape of Zakarpattia oblast. Official (top-down), private-official (commercial) and private (bottom-up) elements of the linguistic landscape have been described.The analysis of historical, demographic, cultural, administrative and legal aspects of linguistic landscape of the Zakarpattia oblast has been taken into consideration as regards linguistic landscape. The usage of minority languages and the impact of postcolonialism and globalization were explored. In the thesis, it has been described typical mistakes and language contacts in the elements of linguistic landscape of Zakarpattia oblast of Ukraine.
