The dissertation focuses on theoretical generalization and proposes a new perspective on the issue of developing graphic arts skills and abilities in 6-7-year-old children. Organizational and methodological grounds for the development of graphic arts skills and abilities in 6-7-year-old children has been heoretically justified and experimentally checked based on innovative fine arts methodology used for developing graphic arts skills and abilities in primary school age children which, in turn, influence the development of graphic and calligraphic components of handwriting.The effectiveness of forms and methods used in developing graphic arts skills and abilities in 6-7-year-old children has been validated.
