Essay

The object is associations as representatives of language picture of the world of Ukrainian-speaking monolinguals and Ukrainian-Russian-speaking bilinguals in the ontogenesis; the methods that are used: free association, descriptive, comparative, quantitative; novelty: it is for the first time in Ukrainian linguistics when the age, gender and territorial parameters are used for the description of language picture of the world and associations of Ukrainian-speaking monolinguals and Ukrainian-Russian-speaking bilinguals of young and middle preschool age and for the ascertainment of regularity of named parameters' influence onto formation of the inner lexicon of a child; the ways of children's inner lexicon organization is established; the influence of the different forms of meaning's existence in the children's consciousness (lingual, object and role) onto associations development and language picture of the world of recipients, which determine the different types of reactions of paradigmatic, syntagmatic and extra-lingual are researched; common and differential typological features of language picture of the world and associations of children of 3-5 comparing with children of 4-5 are found; the criteria of the results of the free association experiment with the children of young and middle preschool age classification are define more precisely; results - in the course of Ukrainian Lexicology, partially in the courses of Word-building and Morphology, General Linguistics, special courses of Sociopsycholinguistics, Gender and Cognitive Linguistics. The experiment data can be used for associative dictionaries and dictionaries of basic lexis compiling; field - linguistics
