Motruk T. The peculiarity of the emotional states demonstration of gambling addicted boys and its correction

The dissertation contains the results of theoretical and empirical investigation of emotional states of the gambling addicted boys. The information on the concept "emotional states" was structured as a particular type of mental state associated with internal processes and underlies the formation of emotions. Besides, it was analyzed the concept and approaches in working with the gambling addicted boys. It was found that youthful age is crucial in forming gambling addiction of boys, proved and developed a conceptual model of the relationship between gambling addicted boys, their emotional states and previous condition of formation of these emotional states. A modification of J. Kelly repertory grids was worked out the first time. A complex of negative emotional states was also revealed, which are inherent for young gambling addicted boys, namely: loneliness, boredom, anger, negativism, resentment, sadness and anxiety. It was experimentally confirmed the key role of emotional states in the formation of gambling addiction. Proved, developed and tested the efficiency of the program of psychocorrection of the emotional states for boys with such addiction.
