In the thesis theoretical foundations of efficiency formation are presented, methodical bases of the estimation of baking enterprises efficiency are substantiated. The features of the development of grain production, grain processing and baking enterprises in Cherkasy region in modern terms of management are investigated. Basic economic indices of the activity of enterprises of baking subcomplex of the region during 1990–2011 are analyzed and the efficiency of their functioning is estimated. After the results of the research the development of baking industry of Cherkasy region for 2012–2015 is prognosticated and the directions of its efficiency increase are offered. Organizational and production model of integrated formations in baking industry of Cherkasy region and econometric model of the estimation of enterprises association efficiency are offered.
