Essay

One of actual problems of health protection - development of the scientifically grounded system for prevention of occupational tuberculosis (TB) in medical workers of Ukraine has been considered in the thesis.Occupational risks of infections with TB bacteria for medical workers and their morbidity of the active TB, using epidemiological, hygienic and clinical studies, have been defined; the effect of the sanitary-epidemiological situation and work conditions in medical establishments have been specified as well as the formation of the risk; individual factors of high risks of TB morbidity of medical workers have been distinguished; there have been established clinical and epidemiological peculiarities of TB of occupational genesis; the system of preventing occupational TB at workplace has been scientifically grounded, which meets international recommendations of WHO and ILO with due account of the existing epidemiological situation with TB in Ukraine.
