Essay

The results of treatment of 72 patients, who underwent carotid endarterectomy under inhalation, intravenous and regional anesthesia, is presented in the thesis. The advantages of using of the block of superficial and deep cervical plexus with superficial sedation for carotid surgery are proved in the study. The obtained results allow to recommend the use of proposed methods to identify indicators of ischemia of brain, anesthesia techniques of cerebral protection in both regional and general anesthesia, which allows to optimize surgical and anesthetic management of surgical interventions with a temporary surgical restriction of cerebral blood flow.
