The Dissertation, on the basis of civil law, judicial practice, and research papers on civil protection and civil liability, studies the legal nature and terms of compensation for damage caused by public authorities, their officials and (or) officers. Compensation for damage caused by public authorities is regarded in the Dissertation as a form of civil liability. Features of general and special conditions of compensation for damage caused by public legal entities are studied. The Dissertation examines special cases of compensation for damage caused in the exercise of powers of authority and the procedure for compensation of such damage.
